The MK Products Collet 4000 Extended 12MM OD is part of a three-piece collet assembly that mounts to both the jaws and the bottom face plate of the weldhead. This assembly is crucial for maintaining the weld joint alignment of the parts to be welded. Collets are manufactured to correspond with the outside diameter of the material to be welded, ensuring a precise fit and optimal performance.
Each complete set of collets consists of three pieces: two sides and one bottom. For welding two tubes together, two sets of collets are required. This particular collet is designed for 12.0 mm outer diameter welding wire, providing secure and accurate wire guidance during welding operations.
